Organisation
SINUS AS was founded in 1992 with the purpose of providing independent consulting in the field of acoustics. Acoustics includes measurements, calculations and evaluation of sound, noise and vibrations, and also evaluation of actions to reduce noise and vibrations, or to better the acoustical conditions.
The company has 12 co-workers, of which nine works in Stavanger and three in Kristiansand. All the employees have a master degree in engineering, almost everyone specialising in acoustics. Four of the employees have a background in construction technique, two in electronics, one in technical physics and one in evironmental physics. SINUS AS is owned by three partners who works in the company.
Quality ensurance
The company has developed a system for quality ensurance according to ISO 9001/9004, which will ensure that all assignements are carried out in accordance with employer specifications and government standards and regulations, such that the competence of the company is utilized to its full extent.
Work methods
The companys main goal is to solve all assignements according to the employers wishes and requirements.
A fixed price is always given, or a frame of expenditures is agreed on if this is wanted. We aim to find simple and practical solutions at the lowest possible costs. This is gained through a close dialog with employer and others involved in the project. The best proof of SINUS's success is that a number of our customers are returning customers.
